Privacy Policy

1. Definition of terms
1.1. The following terms are used in this Privacy Policy:
“contenthub.uz Administration” (hereinafter — the “Administration”) — employees authorised to manage contenthub.uz, acting on behalf of UCDH (Uzbekistan Content Distribution Hub), who organise and (or) carry out the processing of Personal Data or any other confidential information in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and who determine the purposes of processing Personal Data, the scope of Personal Data to be processed, and the actions (operations) performed with Personal Data.
“Personal Data” — information recorded on electronic, paper and (or) other material media that relates to a specific natural person or makes it possible to identify them.
“Processing of Personal Data” — any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed on Personal Data with or without the use of automation tools, or the performance of one or a combination of actions involving the collection, systematisation, storage, modification, supplementation, use, provision, dissemination, transfer, depersonalisation and destruction of Personal Data.
“Confidentiality of Personal Data” — a requirement, binding on UCDH or on any other person who has obtained access to Personal Data, not to allow their dissemination without the consent of the subject of the Personal Data or another lawful ground.
“Confidential Information” — the User’s Personal Data, including contact details, the content of Enquiries submitted and of correspondence with the Administration, as well as information on the subject matter of the proposed cooperation.
“contenthub.uz User” (hereinafter — the “User”) — any natural person who has access to contenthub.uz via the Internet and who uses contenthub.uz.
“Enquiry” — a request, application or message sent by the User to the Administration through the feedback form on contenthub.uz, by email or by telephone as indicated on contenthub.uz.
“Cookies” — a small fragment of data sent by a web server and stored on the user’s computer, which a web client or web browser returns to the web server in an HTTP request each time it attempts to open a page of the relevant site.
“IP address” — a unique network address of a node in a computer network built on the IP protocol.
2. General provisions
2.1. The User’s use of contenthub.uz constitutes the User’s consent to the requirements and conditions established by this Privacy Policy and to the conditions for processing the User’s Personal Data in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2.2. If the User does not agree with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using contenthub.uz.
2.3. This Privacy Policy applies only to contenthub.uz. The Administration does not control and bears no responsibility for third-party websites that the User may visit via links available on contenthub.uz.
2.4. The Administration does not verify the accuracy of the Personal Data provided by the User of contenthub.uz.
2.5. contenthub.uz is a corporate information website. contenthub.uz does not sell goods, accept payments or create User accounts.
3. Subject matter of the Privacy Policy
3.1. This Privacy Policy establishes the obligations of the Administration regarding non-disclosure and the protection of the confidentiality of Personal Data that the User provides when submitting an Enquiry through contenthub.uz.
3.2. Personal Data permitted to be processed under this Privacy Policy and in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan is provided by the User by completing the feedback form on contenthub.uz or by sending an Enquiry using the contact details indicated on contenthub.uz, and includes the following information:
3.2.1. the User’s name (surname, first name, patronymic);
3.2.2. the User’s contact telephone number;
3.2.3. email address;
3.2.4. the subject of the Enquiry;
3.2.5. the content of the message, as well as any information that the User chooses to include in the text of the Enquiry;
3.2.6. the name of the organisation, the position held and other information about the legal entity represented by the User — if the User provides them when submitting the Enquiry.
3.3. The Administration protects data that is transmitted automatically while pages of contenthub.uz are being visited:
- IP address;
- information from cookies;
- information about the browser and the device (or about another program that accesses the site);
- access time;
- the address of the page from which the Enquiry was sent and the address of the entry page to the site;
- the referrer (the address of the previous page);
- the parameters of advertising and marketing tags, including UTM tags and advertising identifiers, if the visit to the site was made via an advertising link.
3.3.1. Disabling Cookies may prevent certain functions of contenthub.uz from working correctly, including saving the selected interface language.
3.3.2. The Administration collects statistics on visitors’ IP addresses. This information is used to identify and resolve technical problems, to ensure the security of contenthub.uz and to protect against malicious automated requests.
3.3.3. Third-party web analytics services that process depersonalised data on site visits may be used on contenthub.uz. Such services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3.4. Any other personal confidential information not specified above (browsers and operating systems used, history of Enquiries, etc.) is subject to secure storage and non-disclosure, except in the cases provided for in clauses 5.2. and 5.3. of this Privacy Policy.
4. Purposes of processing the User’s Personal Data
4.1. The Administration may use the User’s Personal Data for the purposes of:
4.1.1. identifying the User who submitted an Enquiry through contenthub.uz;
4.1.2. establishing feedback with the User, including sending notifications and requests concerning the use of contenthub.uz and the handling of the Enquiry;
4.1.3. reviewing and handling Enquiries on matters of partnership, distribution, dubbing, film rights, engagement with the media and other matters specified by the User;
4.1.4. preparing and agreeing the terms of possible cooperation, as well as concluding and performing contracts with the User or with the organisation represented by the User;
4.1.5. verifying the accuracy and completeness of the Personal Data provided by the User;
4.1.6. determining the User’s location in order to ensure security and prevent fraud;
4.1.7. providing the User with customer and technical support in the event of problems related to the use of contenthub.uz;
4.1.8. improving the performance of contenthub.uz, its ease of use and the development of new services;
4.1.9. providing the User, with the User’s consent, with newsletters and information about projects, releases, events and special offers on behalf of UCDH or on behalf of UCDH partners;
4.1.10. carrying out advertising activities with the User’s consent.
5. Methods and periods of processing Personal Data and Confidential Information
5.1. The processing of the User’s Personal Data is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan by any lawful means, including in information systems (databases) of Personal Data, with or without the use of automation tools.
5.2. The User agrees that the Administration has the right to transfer Personal Data to third parties — telecommunications operators, providers of hosting, email and web analytics services, as well as UCDH partners involved in handling the Enquiry — solely for the purposes specified in clause 4 of this Privacy Policy and to the extent necessary to achieve such purposes.
5.3. The User’s Personal Data may be transferred to authorised state bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan only on the grounds and in the manner established by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
5.4. The User’s Personal Data is processed for the period necessary to achieve the purposes specified in clause 4 of this Privacy Policy, as well as for the period established by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Once the purposes of processing have been achieved, or if the User withdraws consent, the Personal Data is subject to destruction or depersonalisation, except where its further storage is provided for by law.
5.5. In the event of loss or disclosure of Personal Data through no fault of the Administration, the Administration shall immediately inform the User of the loss or disclosure of the Personal Data.
5.6. The Administration takes the necessary organisational and technical measures to protect the User’s Personal Data and Confidential Information from unlawful or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying and dissemination, as well as from other unlawful actions of third parties.
5.7. The Administration, together with the User, takes all necessary measures to prevent losses or other adverse consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the User’s Personal Data.
6. Obligations of the parties
6.1. The User undertakes to:
6.1.1. provide accurate information about Personal Data necessary for handling the Enquiry and for interaction with the Administration, in accordance with the requirements of the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
6.1.2. update and supplement the information provided about Personal Data if that information changes;
6.1.3. refrain from including in the text of the Enquiry the Personal Data of third parties without a lawful ground for transferring them.
6.2. The Administration undertakes to:
6.2.1. use the information and Personal Data received solely for the purposes specified in clause 4 of this Privacy Policy;
6.2.2. keep the Confidential Information secret, not disclose it without the prior written permission or consent of the User, and not sell, exchange, publish or otherwise disclose the User’s Personal Data that has been transferred, except in the cases provided for in clauses 5.2. and 5.3. of this Privacy Policy;
6.2.3. take precautions to protect the confidentiality of the User’s Personal Data in accordance with the procedure normally used to protect information of this kind in existing business practice;
6.2.4. block the Personal Data relating to the User concerned, from the moment of an application or request by the User, by the User’s legal representative or by an authorised state body of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the period of verification, where inaccurate Personal Data or unlawful actions have been identified.
7. Rights of the User
7.1. The User has the right to:
7.1.1. receive information concerning the processing of their Personal Data;
7.1.2. demand the clarification, blocking or destruction of their Personal Data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or not necessary for the stated purpose of processing;
7.1.3. withdraw consent to the processing of Personal Data, including consent to receive newsletters and advertising messages;
7.1.4. appeal against the actions or inaction of the Administration to an authorised state body or in court.
7.2. In order to exercise the rights specified in clause 7.1., the User shall send a request to the email address info@contenthub.uz. A response is provided within the period established by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
8. Liability of the parties
8.1. An Administration that has failed to fulfil its obligations shall be liable for losses incurred by the User in connection with the unlawful use of Personal Data, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, except in the cases provided for in clauses 5.2., 5.3. and 8.2. of this Privacy Policy.
8.2. On the basis of and in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the event of loss or disclosure of Confidential Information or Personal Data, the Administration shall bear no liability if such Confidential Information or Personal Data:
8.2.1. had become public knowledge before its loss or disclosure;
8.2.2. had been received from a third party before it was received by the Administration;
8.2.3. was disclosed with the User’s consent.
9. Dispute resolution
9.1. All disputes, disagreements and claims arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, including those relating to its amendment, performance, breach, termination and validity, shall be resolved through negotiations. Before applying to the courts to resolve disputes, the Parties undertake to observe the pre-trial claim procedure.
9.2. The period for reviewing a claim is 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of its receipt, unless a different period is established by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
9.3. If disputes are not resolved through negotiations, they shall be resolved in the courts in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
9.4. Applicable law. This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
10. Additional provisions
10.1. The Administration has the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without the User’s consent.
10.2. A new Privacy Policy comes into force from the moment it is published on contenthub.uz, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Privacy Policy.
